This kitecamp takes place at La Boquilla, right next to Cartagena. Cartagena offers all you need from restaurants to shopping malls, crazy parties and gorgeous girls and guys. Colombia is cheap and there are lots of nice apartments available right at the spot. The beaches are endless long and you will have plenty of space to start and land your kite.

By the way, Cartagena is very family and pet friendly.

The currency in Colombia is Pesos. You will find several ATMs in the city.

Cartagena is not the safest place on earth. You should only take with you what's really necessary, keep your gear in sight and be cautious at night.



Avarage kite for 80kg will be an 11m.
At this time of the year, the wind in Cartagena starts blowing at around 11am and will have it's peak at the end of the day. Direction is on-shore to side-shore.


With 27-28 °C water and 30 °C air temperature, you will ride with boardshorts. The water is flat. You won't find waves, only a litte chop when the wind is getting stronger.

No obstacles. This spot is super safe.


There are many flights with Avianca from Europe to Cartagena. Mostly via Madrid and/or Bogotá. The flight takes around 15 hours. The sooner you book, the better prices you will probably get.

The transfer from the airport to La Boquilla takes more or less 30 minutes.
